~~~~ Grey is a big strapping orc in his early 30s (getting a bit long in the tooth, but experience makes up for it). He stands about 5-foot-10 and weighs in at a little less than 16 stone. His colouration is actually a greenish light-grey, thus his name.
~~~~ Grey will often give the impression, through speaking or actions, that he's not the sharpest arrow in the quiver, which could lead opponents to underestimate him. But he is anything but a dullard.

~~~~ He is generally shirtless with a leather vest, bearskin kilt, bare legs and feet. Fighting-wise he is comfortable with armed combat or wrestling. His weapon of choice is a single-blade axe, and he is quite a good wrestler in hand-to-hand combat.
~~~~ Grey has had no home to speak of since his late teens, as his clan was all but wiped out in a fierce and bloody battle between three warring tribes (only three survivors of the original Bloodbone clan are known to exist: Grey, Gor and Zezhian). In his early 20s, an unfortunate encounter with an enraged grizzly bear took his right arm at the shoulder. Yet, through all this adversity, Grey has become the stronger for it.

~~~~ In wrestling, his feet and legs are quite agile and he's capable of doing a surprising number of locks and throws, should he end up on his back. He also isn't above tripping an opponent and stomping his head in (or as best as he can do with a tough and leathery bare foot). Because of his one arm, many wrestling holds may not work well either for or against him. In armed combat, his axe is tethered to his wrist to lessen his chances of losing it, but the tether is loose enough that he can let it slip from his hand if need be. Using his axe in one hand has kept his arm well muscled. His punch is quite hard as well, earning him the nickname "Stonefist".
~~~~ His lack of heavy armour makes him a bit more quick and agile over his more armoured brethren. By the same token, he would probably take more damage from armed combat because of a lack of armour.

~~~~ Off the battlefield, he's quick with a joke, holds his grog (somewhat) well and has a (some would say) dry sense of humour. On the battlefield, he's all claws and teeth -- as if he's still trying to avenge the death of his clan.
Grey is the character who is the copyright of Mark Correia, who you might remember from his thoroughly splendid short story, The Orc's Tale.
